Rabit r1 is the First tech controversy in 2024, here is why? – Logically Answered

Early in 2024, a new Product called Rabbit r1 was launched. this is an AI-powered Device. In the technical aspect, they introduced a new Large Action Model (LAM). apart from the technical aspect, since the release, there has been a lot of controversy and memes regarding the Rabbit r1.

The logic behind the controversy is,

Why do we need a separate device like the Rabbit R1 when a smartphone can already perform similarly, Actually more than that? seems logically correct

but in the launch of Rabbit r1, they mentioned Rabbit r1 makes users to no interaction with Apps, Users just need to give the voice command. rest will be handled by the Device.

so, using this logic, they can’t beat the existing smartphone industry, here are some reasons.

feature-wise,

1. can’t play the video game.
2. watching the video is difficult on a tiney screen.

User experience-wise,

1. is there anyone ready to use this device in loud places or silent areas like a library?
2. How many of you frequently use Apple Siri and Google Assistance?

Moreover, interaction means user satisfaction.

If you aim to compete with the smartphone industry, you essentially need to be another smartphone.

so, there is a Business liability when the users try to use this device as another gadget, I meant like a second gadget.

So, Will this fail in the future?

We can’t definitively state that. it depends on people’s behavior and adoption. However, if it’s an app that complements smartphones like iPhone and Android, there is significant potential for success. This is my perspective.
